Do you have what it takes to be rich ?$

How To Improve Your Life, Your Health and Your Income. . .

EcoQuest is more than just products for healthy living, it's an opportunity to improve your life financially. The only requirement is your desire to succeed. And, there is a place for everyone at the table. At EcoQuest, we promise life-changing income opportunities for anyone willing to work. Setting the standard high for excellence and integrity. We are careful to make promises, and when we do, we deliver. "We are not a fad. People need our products because they solve problems; problems so significant and far reaching that they are affecting everyone in North America - right now." Michael Jackson President of EcoQuest.

Weary of the corporate world and already searching for a way to have a business of her own, Elaine Gibson paid close attention to a letter from Greg Montoya that told her about an unusual business opportunity.
“I read the letter, ordered the product, Living Air, and within twenty four hours of breathing the difference, I realized that I had found the answer. But I could not have imagined what was ahead.”
“The product, the people, and the integrity in every detail was remarkable,” she says. “I have grown to realize that this is the EcoQuest way. All the trappings of the conventional job fly out the window. I set my own schedule and earn more money than I ever imagined possible. The concept is brilliant; they pay me for what I do and I am free to do all I want!”
Initially, it was Elaine’s business. However, in October of 2000, she and her husband, Nevin, traveled together to Cancun, Mexico, for EcoQuest’s Annual Leadership Convention. While there, Nevin decided to fire his boss.
“He thought he was retiring,” Elaine laughs out loud. “But I have him working day and night!” There must be some free time in his schedule though. He has found time to train for and plans to run a marathon later this year.
One of the many things that makes this business so terrific is that we can do it from anywhere.
“I have done many conference calls with a child in my arms or sitting out on our deck or even cooking dinner,” she says. “We carry product and catalogs with us wherever we go so we can share it all with everyone we meet. Two years ago we went to a bed and breakfast for the weekend and left with the owner giving us a check for $700! Last summer while looking at antiques we sold the shop owner more than $1000 in products. Lunch in an Italian restaurant ended with the sale of one Classic and an appointment with the corporate office.”
Their children and grandchildren are an important part of their lives, too. Every time they win a new bonus car (and they’ve won two so far) the first trip is always to have car seats installed for the grandchildren and of course, the personalized license plates. Hers is “GAGA” and Nevin’s reads “PAPA NEV.”

Daily Wisdom From John Stiemke

Wisdom for Today Tuesday July 25, 2006
Gone are the days when I beat myself up. Lost is the self-hatred. How does one go from self-loathing to actually loving self and others? When did this actually occur? Somewhere in the recovery process, I stopped doing all those things, which completely violated my values. I stopped doing that which my conscience knew was wrong. This is not to say that I still don’t make mistakes. I am human. But I no longer need to destroy my life and hurt others for my own selfish gain. I no longer need to get out a big stick and beat myself over the head. I no longer have to ask myself why I was so stupid. I no longer need to walk in absolute shame.
I cannot fully explain what it is like to lose this need to hate myself and actually care again. This is the miracle called recovery. You see, recovery is not just about simple abstinence. The program teaches me so much more. I have been able to sort through the piles of “yuk” in my life and find that which is truly important. I have learned to operate within my values. I have learned to admit the mistakes I make and work to change my behavior so as not to repeat destructive patterns. I have developed a sense of right and wrong and a desire to do the next right thing. I no longer need to put myself down and abuse myself. I have learned to accept my humanity. Have I lost my self-hatred?
Meditations for the Heart
Values and virtues are things we do not often speak of, but they are of utmost importance to the recovering addict and alcoholic. Values are the things we hold dear. They define what is important and where we invest our time and energy. If I value my recovery I will invest time and energy into it. The same is true with family, a spiritual life, work, self-care and our relationships with others. Virtues on the other hand determine how we go about living our lives. The program teaches us many virtues such as honesty, courage, wisdom and many others. We discover that we do not need to live in a manner of self-deceit, dishonesty, fear and stupidity. We find that we can develop healthy values and virtues. Recovery and the steps and traditions teach us how to live. Am I developing a healthy set of values and virtues?
Petitions to my Higher Power
God,
Once again this morning I can look in the mirror. There was a time that I could not do this. I avoided looking at myself because I did not want to see what was there. I am grateful for this ability to see myself and accept myself again. Thank You for this new vision not only of who I am, but also who I can become. Help me this day to use my values as a guide for living. Teach me to use the virtues of the program in my daily life.
Amen.

Power Naps

Supercharge Your Energy With Power Naps By Kacper PostawskiOne of the most frequent questions I'm asked is: "Are naps good or bad for you?"Yes, naps are very good for you -- but only IF you understand how the sleep system works, and if you know how to nap PROPERLY.It's important to understand your circadian rhythm and light exposure -- and how they control your physical and mental energy.Few people realize that they're not just "dead to the world" when they're sleeping. Sleep is actually a very complex state responsible for healing and energizing our bodies. The Key to "Power Naps"When you sleep you go through five specific "sleep stages." During stages 1 and 2 you sleep "lightly" and are easily wakened. Such sleep does not alter your circadian rhythm radically enough to create a disturbance in your inner sleep system. The energizing effects of Stage 1 and 2 sleep are very beneficial. Just 10 minutes of sleep in these stages can restore your energy to the point that you feel as if you had slept for 8 hours. The best approach is to take "Power Naps" -- or what I refer to as "Stage 2 limited naps" that do not take you beyond stage 2 sleep. The One Type of Naps to AvoidSo why do most people do more HARM than GOOD to themselves by napping? The answer is simple -- they don't know about "deep sleep." Deep sleep comprises stages 3, 4 and 5 sleep stages. During deep sleep your body undergoes a MASSIVE physiological change, and your body temperature, heart rate, respiration all drop substantially.Duribng this time your blood vessels dilate, and the blood normally stored in your main organs during the day is then channeled to your muscles to repair them.If you enter such deep sleep during the day, your circadian rhythm and "inner sleep clock" is seriously thrown out of balance - often resulting in lower energy levels. But if you use naps properly, you can boost your energy levels drastically, and reduce your sleep time drastically. The Secrets of the Optimal "Power Nap"For the average person, from 45- to 90-minutes are required to enter "stage 3-5 deep sleep."This is why you should keep your nap down to a maximum of 45-minutes, and even that can be too long. The most energizing power naps are usually "cat naps" from 10- to 20-minutes long. There are two vital things that can allow you to "engineer" your sleep system using power naps -- and lower your need for sleep, while boosting your energy:You must know exactly what the best time during the day is to take your power nap. You must know exactly what to do AFTER your nap in order to speed up your bodily temperature rise. Both these sleep secrets are detailed in my Powerful Sleep package.Kacper Postawski is an innovative sleep science researcher and the creator of the "Powerful Sleep - Secrets of the Inner Sleep Clock" system. He shows you how to reduce your sleep by up to 3 hours, while creating an abundance of energy.

Success and Happiness are for You

No man has a right, unless he can not help himself, to remain where he will be constantly subjected to the cramping, ambition-blighting influences and great temptations of poverty. His self-respect demands that he should get out of such an environment. It is his duty to put himself in a position of dignity and independence where he will not be liable at any moment to be a burden to his friends in case of sickness or other emergencies, or where those depending on him may suffer.Prosperity begins in the mind and is impossible with a mental attitude which is hostile to it. We can not attract opulence mentally by a poverty-stricken attitude which is driving away what we long for. We must think prosperity before we can come to it. Our circumstances in life, our financial condition, our poverty or our wealth, our friends or lack of them, our condition of harmony or discord, are all very largely the offspring of our thought.Success comes through a perfectly scientific mental process. The man who becomes prosperous believes that he is going to be prosperous. He has faith in his ability to make money. He does not start out with his mind filled with doubts and fears, and all the time talk poverty and think poverty, walk like a pauper and dress like a pauper. He turns his face towards the thing he is trying for and is determined to get, and will not admit its opposite picture in his mind. The man who expects prosperity is constantly creating money in his mind, building his financial structure mentally. There must be a mental picture of the prosperity first; the building around it is comparatively easy. To be prosperous we must put ourselves in the prosperous attitude. We must think opulently, we must feel opulent in thought; we must exhale confidence and assurance in our very bearing and manner. Our mental attitude towards the thing we are striving for and the intelligent effort we put forth to realize it, will measure our attainment. The man who would succeed must think success, must think upward. He must think progressively, creatively, constructively, inventively, and, above all, optimistically. The mental attitude which we hold toward our work or our aim has everything to do with what we accomplish. Many positive minds become negative by influences which destroy their self-confidence. They gradually lose faith in themselves. The whole philosophy of efficiency and happiness consist in the vigorous, consistent affirmation of the thing we are trying to be, and trying to do.

Mission work

My niece, Regina Jones, has found a very special calling. Her courage and strength are continuing to amaze me. I am so proud of her. We received this message recently . . . If you can help, I promise you won’t regret it.

Greeting in Christ!

This has been an amazing year for me, particularly in regards to my journey of faith. What a great adventure this life is!

Many of you can look back and remember when I decided to relocate to California after graduate school. I knew I wanted to move to Southern California but I had no idea where I was headed. I quickly found a job working as a therapist with adolescents and their families and I thought that I had found my “calling”. This wasn’t a surprise to anyone, considering my personal history and education. I also found a home church, The Crossing, and began attending every Sunday. Church helped me deal with my overwhelming feeling of homesickness and I got involved with a group that serves in El Nino, Mexico. One Saturday a month, the group goes down to paint houses, play with the kids and be in community with our friends in Mexico. I know some of you were thinking, “Yeah right! Our Regina, painting houses?!” Believe it or not, I the first time I went was one of those moments that people talk about - one of those moments where in an instant a whole life changes. Not only do I now spend one Saturday a month in El Nino, Mexico, but I even joined the build team which goes down for the weekend to build houses. I can even do drywall now!

Through Mexico I made a friend who was going to Africa and for some reason he felt compelled to ask me to join him. His team was traveling to Zimbabwe to take food, medicine and The Good News to people in Gwayi River and the surrounding villages. This is where I said, “Yeah right! No Way.” Even so, I prayed about it and something inside me was curious. All of you know that I ended up going…kicking and screaming the entire way! When I landed in Zimbabwe I was overwhelmed with emotion. When I remember back on how I felt, I’m ashamed. I was angry and I wanted to be anywhere except where I was. I prayed and prayed and prayed. I knew that God was going to have to soften my heart in order to help me make it through the trip. Needless to say, I was not a joy to be around.

While in Victoria Falls, we met the boys in this picture. I would love to say that immediately after meeting them, my heart was softened and I was ready to serve God in whatever way I was called…but that would be a lie. I still felt sorry for myself, knowing I was expected to spend the next two weeks in the African bush. It was not until the next day, when I was wandering around and praying for clarity, begging God to show me why he had brought me around the world, that I was finally able to hear God’s voice. I will never be able to articulate what this was like for me in a way that would do Him justice; however, in that moment my entire life changed.

On November 19, 2005 I asked God for answers and He led me back to the parking lot where I saw these boys sleeping, curled up with one another trying to stay warm. At that moment I heard, “These are my children that I love so much. They are hungry.” So we ate. We spent the next hour in a restaurant eating Sadza and stew while we talked. I learned the heartbreaking stories of how these boys were orphaned. They ate until their stomachs were full and I promised them that I would return on Thursday (our Thanksgiving) and we would eat again. I don’t know if they believed me or not, but I know that they had hope.

On Thanksgiving,
our team hosted a party with these boys as the guests of honor. It was the best night of my entire life. There was a moment where I took a step back, out of the busyness of that day and all of the preparations for the party, and saw these children laughing, singing, and dancing with a group of seven misfits from California who were loving them the way Jesus taught us to. Right then, I knew that in someway Victoria Falls would always be home to me – that these people would always be my family.

I have been given the honor of returning to Africa this spring. I will be spending time in Zimbabwe and Zambia, working with ROCK of Africa to deliver medical supplies and open an orphanage. This will give me the opportunity to spend more time with these boys and many other children who wake up every morning in a country with so many challenges.

This is not at all where I pictured myself two years out of graduate school but I know that God’s plan is perfect. This is a huge faith step for me and I am asking for your support. I ask that your prayers are with me during this time. Please continue to pray for my safety, my travels and my health. Pray for the people I will meet in Africa as well as for these wonderful twelve boys who are responsible for my return. There are so many details to work through and you will receive bi-weekly updates while I am in Zimbabwe. Please also keep my family in your prayers, as they are also taking a leap of faith by sending their “baby” off to Africa.

There are many costs associated with this ministry. Simply, I need your financial support. My service in Southern Africa will begin April 5, 2006. I am trying to raise $5,000. This support will go towards both my living expenses and ministry tools: travel, food, communication, transportation (gas), health insurance, Bibles, supplies for the orphans, and much more. Please pray about contributing to this ministry and my efforts. If you would like to contribute financially, please make your checks payable to “ROCK of Africa” and send them to 20382 Venus Circle, Huntington Beach, CA 92646. Please put my name in the memo line for record keeping. You can also donate online at www.rockofafrica.org.

ROCK of Africa has another trip coming up in July and I would love to encourage you to check out the website and pray about traveling with us! I have several friends from Michigan who are coming and I would love for all of you to be able to experience this beautiful country! I know that many of you receiving this letter are responsible for partnering with me in my last trip as well as on my faith journey and I so appreciate all of your prayers and wisdom. Thank you for your support, either in the past or the future.

In His name,

Regina Jones

Helping people enjoy life more!!!

"Did you know that 70 to 90 percent of all North Americans deal with breathing issues such as asthma or allergies? We help solve the problem of indoor air pollution. Our space certified technology takes the solution to the pollution!!"

How one unit just a little larger than a shoe box can purify an entire house or office of up to 3,000 square feet (you don't need a unit in every room of your house!) and the air never has to travel to the purifier!

News From the Space Foundation
EcoQuest International Awarded Certified Space Technology™ Status Colorado Springs, CO (June. 30, 2004)The Space Foundation announced today that EcoQuest International’s Fresh Air purification product has been officially recognized as a Certified Space Technology™.Fresh Air by EcoQuest uses technology originally developed in cooperation with NASA to clean the air in spacecraft by removing airborne pathogens. Titanium Dioxide (Ti02), a photocatalytic substance, was discovered to reduce hydrocarbons in enclosed spaces. The Fresh Air product uses a similar application of Ti02 in a UV activated photocatalytic system to effectively purify the air indoors. According to a recent Wall Street Journal article; "wall to wall carpeting, poorly ventilated fireplaces and furnaces, mold, bacterial toxins, dust mites not to mention second hand smoke. . . an almost endless collection of highly allergenic products have invaded our homes and we have sealed them in with deadly precision". " People need products like our Fresh Air because they help solve significant problems.” Stated Michael Jackson, EcoQuest President.Fresh Air includes technology to show users fan and purification settings, time remaining on the adjustable sanitizer feature, and even recommends routine maintenance or service. The SynAirG5 System incorporates photocatalytic technology to “supercharge” the proven Ecotech process for faster, more effective performance and an included remote control lets you make adjustments or activate the sanitize function from almost anywhere in the room.“EcoQuest has been awarded use of the Certified Space Technology™ seal because they have effectively applied space based technology to addresses the real and growing concern of indoor air pollution and improve the quality of life for people here on Earth.” said Kevin C. Choosing a Home Managed Business

At EcoQuest, we promise life-changing income opportunities for anyone willing to work. Setting the standard high for excellence and integrity. We are careful to make promises, and when we do, we deliver.

What Outsiders Say About EcoQuest...

Business Bits “N” Pieces, a Trade publication, reviewed 76 Multilevel and Direct Sales companies over a four year period and concluded that we were:
• best in product value,
• best in compensation,
• best in supporting field personnel, and
• best in demonstrating a commitment to the end users of our products

They gave us their highest rating, Five Coins, twice. No other company has ever received this rating even once.
I encourage anyone looking into starting a business to investigate the opportunity. With EcoQuest International, I found that they were in a leage of their own.

Welcoming 2006

I am glad to see 2005 go out the winder. It was a pretty good year until the death of my father a couple of weeks ago. I have been struggling with grieving and have not really felt like doing much of anything. I did however manage to qualify for Fast Start Distributor. As far as I know. . . there may be a glitch but I am trying to stay positive. Had a mostly unpleasant time at a party that I really didn't want to go to. My wife decided we were going. The kids had fun pretty much. I don't think my wife had a very good time and as you know, if mamma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy !!! Anyway, I just want to say "Happy New Year and Welcome to 2006" Lets hope and pray that it is better than the departing. . . until next time
